Why are reviews so important?

I’m an independently published author which means I don’t have the power of a large publishing house behind me. It’s just me, my stories, and you!

Reviews are one of the ways that a writer like me can stand out in a very large crowd.

They’re helpful because:

• They persuade readers to take a risk on a new author

• Bookselling websites use them to decide whether to recommend my books

• AND (very importantly to me) I love reading them (even those that aren’t four or five stars)
